Book 2 – Rework, by founders of 37 Signals

Audience: Entrepreneurs/wanna-be entrepreneurs/People trying to build a minimum viable product (MVP)

My Suggestion: Read with caution

Synopsis: Take the lessons of this book with a grain of salt. This is not your startup bible. There are bits and pieces in which you can glean specific insights and learn some good lessons, but overall Jason Fried of 37 signals can take a bit of a minimalistic approach that may or may not get you to the product viability you need in reality.

Random Product Review

Traveling beard trimmer.

Before I went to Europe, I wanted a beard trimmer that wouldn’t take up much space, didn’t require an outlet, and was lightweight. The Philips GoStyler is perfect – in fact, I ditched my old plugin at home and only use this now. A single AA battery has lasted well over 2 months and still going.

Philips Norelco GoStyler Personal Groomer (Model FS9185/49) WLM

Rating: 8.7/10

Recommendation: Purchase

Best For: Travel – battery powered, extremely long battery life, lightweight with multiple attachments, powerful, water resistant, easy to clean

Drawbacks: The attachment sizes only come in 3 (s/m/l) so there is little flexibility on how long you want your beard. If you have a really thick beard, it can take some time to trim it down.
